Our company conducted a special emergency drill.

Release time:2019-08-20

To establish a rapid and orderly emergency rescue and response mechanism, further enhance employee capabilities in handling emergencies, and effectively master emergency measures for unexpected events, the company's production control center organized a power outage emergency drill (handling) activity on the afternoon of August 20.

The drill simulated a summer thunderstorm, with high and low voltage lines suddenly tripping, resulting in the failure of basic power supplies such as plant communications, drainage systems, and production lighting. Production equipment in operation suddenly stopped, while fogging and valve back-pressure in the production workshop continued, causing system pressure to continuously increase and creating an emergency situation. After the power outage, the Equipment Support Department contacted the power supply department to inquire about the outage and activated the emergency plan for sudden power outages. According to the plan, the on-duty foreman directed employees at each post to close equipment valves, open system vent valves, reduce system pressure, and prepare for power restoration; the Equipment Support Department divided into three groups to inspect and repair power and drainage. After the repair was completed and safety was confirmed by various departments and posts, the backup power supply was activated.

This drill tested the practicality and operability of the emergency plan, enhanced participants' understanding of the importance of handling emergencies, and improved the power distribution personnel's ability to quickly respond to and handle sudden power outages.
